We moved into the office on Wednesday 4th September which was three weeks ago.
We have had the whole of the building decorated, new carpets, new lighting, new blinds, new loos, new computer “stuff” and pre-loved furniture.
We suffered from no phones, phones that didn’t work, phones that sort of worked and now phones that work fine. We had no emails, emails that looked like they should work but didn’t, lost emails, replicated emails, found emails. The email system is still not working properly but we can cope with its idiosyncracies for the time being.
We have had three decorators in at the same time, two were called Paul. We nicknamed them “Our Paul” and “Paul Also”. We have had help from Steve the carpet man and his mate and Steve the builder who likes to be known as “The good looking one”. We had help from Paul the plumber nick named Paul the First, who then went on holiday and could not be contacted. So we called in Paul the Second who was over worked with other jobs and ended up in hospital with high blood pressure. So we ended up relying on “Paul the Third” to come in and sort out the heating that did not work. Seems like we have a plethora of Pauls in Rugby!
Why am I telling you all of this?
Well, we now have a fully functioning meeting room. This means that if you are thinking about selling your accountancy practice and want to meet with someone face to face in a totally confidential environment, then we have the facilities to provide that for you.
If, on the other hand, you want to buy fees and want to speak to someone who buys and sells accountancy practices on a regular basis, then please feel free to contact us. We can sit down and discuss what you are looking to buy and where.
Our door is open to help you in any way we can. So, please remember if you are thinking of selling your accountancy practice or buying fees, then contact me, Nicola Draper on 01788 816440 or email me at n.draper@draperhinks.co.uk. Let’s have a chat and see how we can help you to get what you want.
Remember everything discussed will be kept in the strictest of confidence.
